Vocational Training Course: Health Care Technician

Introduction

 When facing an overriding need of an official certificate for professionals in the sector of health emergencies which has become a need to keep their jobs along with the schedule problems when combining their professional activity and their studies, a new educational project is developed following the guidelines of a BLENDED methodology adapted to the personal and professional circumstances of the students.   

This programme satisfies the demanded requirements of the current legislation:

-       Development of a two-year degree

-       Teaching organization in three terms per course

-       In-class sessions to consolidate and fix the concepts as well as to review the contents.

-       Exams every three months along with the other examination sessions.

-       Setting of a monitoring system in order to accomplish the teaching/learning objectives.

-       Setting of monitored practicum in the different modules, regardless of the internship.

     PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

     TELEEMERGENCIES

     EMERGENCIES PLANS AND PREDICTABLE-RISK DEVICES

     PYSCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

 

Second Course Subjects

     PRIMARY HEALTH CARE IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

     HEALTH CARE LOGISTICS IN EMERGENCIES

     EVACUATION AND MOVEMENT OF PATIENTS

     BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP INITIATIVE 

     ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES

     INTERNSHIP IN WORK CENTRES: (370H.)

Entrance requirements

 Degree: Graduated in E.S.O. (Secondary Mandatory School).

    Degree of Assistance Technician.

    To have passed the second course of “Bachillerato Unificado y Polivalente” (BUP).

    Any other equivalent academic degree to the above mentioned.

    To have passed the entrance exam to Vocational Training Courses or the entrance exam for those older than 25 years.
